I’m
your guide, Emily Zalewski, a
freshman at Towson University working for an Art Major in Illustration.
My addiction to comics has led my inspiration and art to follow the
leads of guys such as Marc Silvestri and Michael Turner of Top Cow. I
love to kick back with a good sketch book and listen to some heavy
metal. Mainly, you can hear bands like Iced Earth, Megadeth, Metallica,
Dream Theater, and Judas Priest leak out of my speakers, but every once
and a while Star Wars soundtracks and Gene Pitney make their
appearance. Speaking of appearance, around these parts I'm the
campus
cowgirl. I sport the good ol' Tony Lama cowboy boots, hat, belt/buckle,
and drover.
I'm also a fan of the gym, when school and all lends me the time to go. - Emily Zalewski

"Why did you build this site?"
Just kidding. This website is the product of an assignment for my Art100 course at Towson University. I chose to do my website on Picasso, Braque, and their Cubism. This specific site is designed with people just entering college in mind. You all may one day need to do research on Mr. Picasso and Mr. Braque. A site like mine has a whole lot of information and pictures in one place to help make your research easier. I hope this site is useful to all who use it.
Personally, I'm not a fan of technical websites that give you a lot of facts in big words and long sentences. While doing research, I want the information to be short and to the point. I tried to define/clarify some of the art terms unfamiliar to those not into art. Once again, that's how I designed this site. Also, because I put a good deal of time into this project, I wanted the text to reflect a little about me. I prefer to be informal in my writings; the site's text should be no different.
Well there you go, folks, the method to my controlled madness. Feel free to contact me with questions or comments (I enjoy both), but please mention the website in the subject line so I don't delete you!
